This is a comprehensive list of upcoming and recurrent programs for adults. Online registration is offered via web calendar. You may also register in-person, or by phone at 815-786-8308. Registration is not required for programs unless noted; however, you may choose to register for any program if desired.

Please note: If programs that require registration do not reach minimum capacity 48 hours before scheduled date, the program may be cancelled. If such a situation occurs, you will be notified by phone prior to original program time.

A Sandwich in Sandwich - Program Info
November 3rd @ 1:00PM:
Celebrate National Sandwich day in Sandwich! Come to the library to make a complimentary sandwich and enjoy a family friendly movie. All materials will be provided. No registration required.

The Journey to “Mollie’s War: Exploring Women in the Military during WWII - Program Info
November 11th @ 1:00PM:
Honor Veteran’s Day by coming in to the library to learn about the inspiring women of WWII from presenter Cyndee Shaffer. Ms. Shaffer will share the experiences of her mother’s time in during WWII based off of the 350 letters corresponding between her mother and her aunt. No registration is required.

Hedda! A Musical Conversation - Program Info
November 21st @ 7:00PM:
Prepare to be entertained with this special one-woman musical on the iconic, Hollywood gossip columnist, actress and political pundit: Hedda Hopper, starring Jillan Gabrielle. No registration is required.

Ted Talks Tuesday - Program Info
November 28th @ 7:00PM:
Expand your knowledge with us in our all new Ted Talks series. We will watch a Ted Talks video and discuss the subject afterwards. Light refreshments will be provided. No registration is required.

Holiday Gift Drive - Program Info
All November
The library is partnering with the Reason to Give foundation to host a Holiday Gift Drive that will provide donated toys and coats to those in need for the holidays. This will be the 9th annual drive for Reason to Give, and 1st annual year for the library. Cards’ featuring the names’ ages, and interests of kids in need will be available to explore. Bring your wrapped donations into the library to make sure they get sent to the families in time! Feeling crafty? Come to the library to spend time with great people creating new, and fun crafts for you to keep! Craft themes change every month. All materials are provided for you unless otherwise noted. The program is free, but registration is required. There are only 10 spots available every month, so be sure to register early.

READER'S HAVEN BOOK CLUB
